The AirTrain ends at the station next door

The JFK AirTrain runs from the airport terminals to Sutphin Blvd–Archer Av–JFK Airport station, and that is where it stops. Come up out of that station and Sweets of NY is a short walk along Sutphin Blvd, at 94-02. There is no transfer, no bus and no cab ride in between: the club is on the street the station is named after.

That is unusual for this kind of room. Most gentlemen's clubs in the city are a cab ride from anywhere you would actually be, and most of them are in Manhattan. This one is on top of the interchange you are already passing through.

The station, and the walk

Sutphin Blvd–Archer Av–JFK Airport is four things in one building — a subway station, the AirTrain terminus, the Long Island Rail Road's Jamaica Station and a bus interchange. Any of them gets you to the door:

• AirTrain JFK, from every terminal, to its last stop.
• The E, J and Z subway lines.
• The Long Island Rail Road at Jamaica Station, on the next block.
• Valet out front, if you drove.
• Uber and Lyft drop off at the door.

If you are staying on Sutphin Blvd

Three hotels sit on or beside the same street, all of them a walk rather than a ride. Distances are approximate and measured to the club:

• Hampton Inn & Suites, 90-75 Sutphin Blvd — about 0.15 mi.
• Holiday Inn Express, 97-18 Sutphin Blvd — about 0.2 mi.
• Red Roof Inn Plus+, 97-26 147th Place — about 0.25 mi.

Open from 3 PM, which is what makes it useful on a layover

Sweets of NY opens at 3 PM every day and runs until 4 AM. A long layover or an early hotel check-in is usually dead time in Jamaica, because nothing of this kind nearby opens before 8 PM. The doors here are open through the whole afternoon, so an hour between a flight and a bed is an hour you can spend somewhere.

Valet, rideshare, and what to bring

Valet is available out front, and Uber and Lyft drop off at the door, which is the easy answer if you are coming straight from a terminal with a bag. Ask the house about anything else to do with a car when you call.

Sweets of NY is a strip club — a gentlemen's club with topless entertainment by exotic dancers, with a full bar and bottle service at the table. Entry is 21 and over with valid government ID, and a passport is fine. Dress to impress: the house sets the code at the door, and management reserves the right of admission.
